Truly a Dream Day

The weather, the company, the location — a DREAM. Photographing this sweet, sweet Richmond wedding at the iconic Linden Row Inn, right in the heart of the city, was SO special. M & N are so in love and it shows! They celebrated their day with their closest family (and when I say close, I mean they only had 10 guests!!) and they were able to soak up every minute of it.

Small Wedding Charm

The day started by getting ready in Linden Row’s gorgeous historical rooms. When I walked into the bridal suite, it was calm, quiet, and relaxed. That is some of the beauty of choosing to have a small wedding in Richmond. Most people talk about how stressed they are and I believe your wedding day should be filled with presence and excitement!!

The historic charm of Linden Row only adds to that feeling. The peaceful rooms, brick walkways, and hidden gardens create a space where you can actually slow down and enjoy your wedding day instead of rushing from one event to the next.

Slow Down & Soak It In

It was so laid back so they had plenty of time to soak up the moment, hug their loved ones, and be fully immersed in their wedding day. There wasn’t a rush to get to one event to the next. They had cake, a toast, portraits, and then went to dinner with their family afterwards.

Honestly, that's what I hope every couple experiences. Your wedding isn't a photoshoot with a schedule attached. It's one of the most exciting days of your life. The photos should fit around the moments, not the other way around.

The Dream Team

The vendors for this day were exquisite. Tia from Hello Love is truly a mastermind. As a planner and officiant, she loves your love and wants to create a special and meaningful atmosphere for you! The cake by Pearl’s NEVER misses, and the flowers from Vogue are just drop-dead gorgeous. The whole team made such a beautiful day for a wonderful couple and family.

One of my favorite things about small weddings is watching every vendor have the time to truly connect with the couple. You can feel how much heart goes into every detail.
