This maternity session in Richmond was a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful locations aren’t always the most “aesthetic” — they’re the ones that represent your life as it is, right now.
We spent the morning moving through M & R’s gorgeous, creative, and intentional home. We started in the front yard, where the soft late morning light filtered through the old trees, and it was so calm and peaceful. There’s something really special about documenting the outside of your home — the place your baby will grow up knowing!
We also spent time on the front porch with their sweet puppy, capturing the craziness that is puppy love and the candid moments that feel the most like real life. These are the memories that often mean the most later. The slobber. The laughter. The love.
